Well most experts such as pro players or people who are around the sport say that it is a great way to get out and be active. Many people who aren't close to the sport and only know it from the bad things that happen don't like it. Many pro players say that if the sport is played properly and its hosted in a secure enviorment then it is a really great sport to play. The doctors, that see all the injuries that happen because people play the sport in the wrong way or don't wear safety gear, really dis like the sport.

There is a big controversy about the amount of eye injuries that are cause by paint balls. In the sport of paintball you must were a mask that protects your eyes and face. When you go to a licensed field you are required to have a mask to play or even enter the field. When at a licensed field there are refs that stop you from taking your mask off during game play or when you have been shot out of a game. This keeps the chances of getting a serous eye injury very low because you are always wearing you mask. Many eye injuries that are reported occur in someones back yard or a place were there is no supervision. People will get hurt if there is no one there watching what they are doing. A lot of people want to take there masks off because they fog up or they become sweaty. There is no reason to blame the sport for eye injuries just the people that aren't careful enough and get themselves hurt.

One of the major benefits of letting kids play paintball is that they will go outside and be active. When kids play paintball they develop there physical and mental skills. When being shot at by a opposing player they have to learn to think while being under pressure witch builds mental strength. There is a lot of running and diving in the game of paintball witch takes its toll on the body. The game makes a kid physically strong from doing all those things. The game just if great to get kids outside and doing something more then just watching TV or playing video games.

Paintball is a amazing sport that is fun and adrenalin pumping. You learn many things from playing the sport. You develop your listening and communication skills witch you need to be good at later on in life. Your reaction time will increase because of the fast passe the game is played at. While playing on a team you also learn to be individually capable of taking care of your self and your assignment. The game lets people get away from normal every day life and have fun. Its a way to get people out of there houses and stop watching TV and playing video games. Its a great game to play.
